JOB: Account Exec & Sales Rep (Closed)

GoToTags is looking to hire a full time energetic and smart individual to fill the role of account executive and work inside sales in our Seattle office. You will be responsible for the lead > opportunity > quote > order pipeline for technical software, hardware and physical products sales. We are a small, smart and efficient team focused on delivering software and physical products for the rapidly growing Internet of Things revolution.   • Become an expert in our products, services and technology to provide the optimal customer solutions
  • Create, develop and own strategic partnerships with new companies, agencies other clients
  • Follow up on inbound opportunities via phone and email to understand the customer’s projects and to offer the appropriate products
  • Generate new potential leads (link building, social, email marketing…)
  • Generate custom quotes for opportunities
  • Provide post-sales support by following up with customers to ensure project success and identify subsequent opportunities
  • Work with existing accounts to identify new opportunities within their business
  • Use our online CRM tool to track the status of all customer projects
  • Work tightly with management, vendor, operations and finance teams to ensure a smooth and accurate order process
  • As the company grows, work with other sales team members
  • Review product and support documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Develop online self-service sales content (YouTube videos, webinars, demos…)
  • Recommend improvements to process, marketing and products to other team members
  • High School diploma required; BA+ in college is a bonus
  • 2 yrs experience with account management and/or sales
  • VERY strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail, quality and accuracy
  • Very strong time management skills; self-tasking and prioritization
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficient with mobile devices (iOS, Android)
  • Previous use of an online CRM tool (Salesforce, Workbooks, Zendesk…)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Very capable using the Internet to figure things out for yourself
  • Able to learn new systems and processes quickly and be able to improve on existing processes
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills; articulate, spelling, grammar…
  • Basic business math and analytical skills
  • Experience with social media; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn…
  • Work in the office Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4PM. We’re not as busy on Fridays so there will often be an opportunity to leave early for the weekend.
  • We work with customers worldwide, many in Europe and Asia. Due to the time zone differences we often get important emails in the evening. Expect to work an hour or so at-home in the evenings and on Sunday evening (Asia morning) to check for important emails.
  • Some travel (10%) will be required; typically meeting with customers and industry events
  • Able to work from home up to 25% (to miss busy traffic periods)
  • It is expected you can generate enough new sales to cover your cost within a 1 month timeframe. During that time you will work in parallel with current team members.

  • Hourly contractor (1099) to full-time employee (W2) after initial 1-2 month trial period
  • Base + Commission; % to be determined
