NFC Encoder Sequential NFC Tag Encoding

The GoToTags NFC Encoder software has multiple tag selection modes which determine how the software chooses which NFC tag to encode next; sequential and correlated. Sequential encoding is used when either the same data is being encoded on every tag (bulk encoding) or the order of the physical NFC tag is irrelevant, as is the case when the tag does not contain a variable printed element (uid, name..).

  1. Create the NFC tag encoding file with the tags in the order that they should be encoded in.
  2. In the NFC Encoder software, ensure the “Auto-Select Next Tag” encoding option is enabled.
  3. Start encoding; each NFC tag placed on the reader will encode the tags in order from top to bottom (Tag #1, Tag #2, Tag #3…)
