NFC Operation Modes

NFC has three modes of operation which define how NFC tags and NFC devices can communicate with each other. The most common mode for Connected Things projects is NFC reader/writer mode, whereas Peer-Peer and Card Emulation are often used in transportation and payment projects. Not all NFC controllers support all modes of operation; check the technical specifications of the NFC device for what NFC modes are supported.
