Desktop App Release v4.3.0
The Desktop App v4.3.0 was released on January 19th, 2023. With the opening of the Desktop App Beta in the previous release, v4.2.0, we expected to find many new bugs that would need attention. Thanks to the help of Beta users, we were able to identify and fix a large amount of these bugs to allow for a smoother app experience. For now, the Desktop App will remain in Beta as we continue to fix new bugs.

Bug Fixes
The following are new bug fixes in the Desktop App. If you find a bug in the Desktop App, submit a bug report.
- For some Windows system languages, the app would fail to shut down Certificate Propagation causing the app to crash; all supported languages will no longer have this issue.
- In some cases, readers using a direct connection would cause an infinite loop of errors; the Desktop App will now attempt to recover; if unrecoverable, the Desktop App will shut down.
- The properties view for NFC tags and NFC readers would omit NULL values; now all values are always shown.
- Users without an enabled sound card were unable to open the app without a crash; the Desktop App will now disable sounds in this case and run without issue.
- When the Smart Card resource manager was not running, the app would fail to start; now the app will request permission to start the Smart Card resource if it was not enabled.
