Desktop App Release v4.7.1
The Desktop App v4.7.1 was released on July 3rd, 2023. This release fixes a few outstanding bugs in the Tag Tools operation.
Features
- Resetting a MIFARE Classic chip will now reset it to an unformatted state
- When the app detects that you have an NFC reader that is improvable with drivers, it will display a window to guide you to the driver installation page
Bug Fixes
- For users without NFC reader drivers installed, the Tag Tools NFC tag edit modal would still allow chip locking to be attempted which caused unexpected errors. Now the app will disable the locking option for chips and readers that don’t support it
- Users using the CIR215A NFC reader would sometimes experience problems reading tags. This has been fixed and it should read NFC tags without any problems
